Once again, big tech behemoth Google has proven that not only does the company operate well outside of the Constitution, but its executives are not held accountable because they allow the company to be used as an illegal surveillance tool on behalf of the federal government.
Nowhere is that more obvious than the record number of Americans the platform tracked on behalf of the Feds during the Jan. 6 false flag incident at the U.S. Capitol Building in 2021.
The FBI’s ‘investigation’ into the Capitol protest is said to be the largest in the bureau’s history. But, according to Reclaim the Net, another record was demolished that day: “the number of phones identified via the geofence dragnet mass surveillance method, and thanks to Google.”
This comes despite the fact that it is obviously against the Fourth Amendment’s privacy and warrant provisions to utilize so-called “geofencing” to track Americans without any court-authorized permission to do so.
“Nevertheless, of the 5,723 devices that Google identified for the FBI, ‘initially’ about 900 people have been charged for some offense related to the” incident, Reclaim the Net reported.
The outlet noted further:
The thousands of others were caught in the Google/FBI net of digital surveillance because their location data showed they happened to be close to the Capitol as the events unfolded.
All this has been revealed in a filing in the case of David Rhine, one of those suspected of entering the building, behaving “disorderly and disruptively,” and “parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.”
Rhine’s attorney now wants to suppress geofence data – citing their client’s constitutional expectation of privacy regarding his Google data – and evidence has in the process revealed how it works and at what scale.
The filing reaffirmed and revealed a host of facts about the tech giant’s role in geofencing.
For instance, the main tool exploited by Google on behalf of the Feds is Location History. Even phones that are set to “airplane mode” were caught up in the Google dragnet. What’s more, demonstrators who attempted to erase their location history after the fact somehow “wound up attracting even more attention from the FBI,” the outlet reported.
It’s no wonder then, the outlet continued, that Google receives some 10,000 geofence warrants annually from the federal government — though Android users have the option of turning off their Location Services when they set up their phone.
But look, the reality is, the entire Jan. 6 “riot” was a setup to ruin President Donald Trump’s reputation and put as many of his supporters as possible behind bars.
Shortly after the incident, a trained observer who is an expert in spotting such observations, J. Michael Waller, who was at the Capitol that day, wrote about what he saw in a piece for The Federalist a week after the breach:
The ‘riot’ at the Capitol was a deep state operation, period. Experts who were there know what they saw because they’ve seen such operations before.
Our entire government has been weaponized against We the People.
